Paying for your care
Please note that the hospitals I work at will take credit card details upon arrival. They do so to collect any charges due to them, usually relating to costs for x-rays or MRI scans. The Cambridge Knee Clinic, which is independent of the hospitals, will invoice separately for charges relating to clinical care. Just call us on the number above if unclear.
Please note we are approved by all major UK medical insurance companies including BUPA, AXA, Aviva, WPA and others.
Warning: Some insurers are deliberately mis-informing insured patients of what specialists’ charges are. That is usually in an effort to divert the patient towards less experienced specialists and less reputable hospitals. Please always check what my charges are with my office (contact details above).
Almost all insurers have dramatically reduced the fees they pay doctors. That might create a shortfall for some insured patients. Thus patients are increasingly funding their care directly.
