I hold outpatient clinics at The Nuffield and/or Spire Hospitals in Cambridge every week.
@ Nuffield Hospital on Monday AM.
@ Spire Hospital on Thursday PM, Wednesdays PM.** (see below)
Please note, clinics are not held at our office address.
Charges for self-pay patients
The charge for a new consultation is £300 (30 mins/as needed) and that for a follow-up is £200 (20 mins/as needed) . Please note that costs for x-rays, scans and any surgery are separate. I will seek the lowest rates for any scans or surgery for my self-pay patients. MRI costs off peak in London start at approximately £280. We accept payment by bank transfer (BACS) or cheque only.
CHOOSE AND BOOK SERVICE (formerly ‘NHS electronic referral’)
This is a service free of charge to UK nationals. Providing they are referred to me by their GP, via the service, all clinic and surgery charges are nil.
**Changes to Clinic Bookings for Mr Chitnavis’ patients at Spire Hospital Cambridge from 1st May 2025
The Spire Hospital have unilaterally decided to seize control of all clinic bookings for all consultants practising at their hospital in Cambridge. As a result, my secretary will not be able to provide bespoke time slots for my patients being treated by me at the Spire Hospital. However, she will be able to precisely co-ordinate clinic bookings at the Nuffield Hospital in Cambridge.
